BioPaper® Bio-degradable hemostatic material
The Datsing Bio-Paper is a new type bio-degradable hemostatic material designed and produced by Beijing Datsing Bio-Tech Co., Ltd. Used adjunctively in surgical procedures, the Datsing Bio-Paper could effectively stop the blood oozing in surgical wounds, prevent the tissue from adhering, and seal the surgical wound.

Anti-blood oozing

Once contact with blood or interstitial fluid, the Bio-Paper will absorb the liquid in the blood to make the blood stick, so as to promote coagulation; at the same time, the interaction of moleculecharges will promote the coagulation of platelet; moreover, the Bio-Paper will change into gel state after absorptionof water, thus, it can adsorb onto the surface of the wound quickly to compress the wound and prevent the bleeding.



After absorption of water, the Bio-Paper, act as a physical barrier, will change into a gel layer to preventthe wound from adhering with other tissues; meanwhile, it can stimulate the growth of epithelial cell,restrain the growth of fibroblast, and reduce the synthesis of collagen so as to prevent the adhesion essentially.


Seal the wound

The transparent gel layer formed when the Bio-Paper encounters with water can effectively seal the wound.





The Bio-Paper is applicable in various surgeries, such as general surgery, thoracic surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, cardiac surgery, orthopedics surgery, neurosurgery, urology to prevent the wound from blood-oozing and tissue adhesion. Beside, in the neurosurgery, the Bio-Paper can seal the dura mater to prevent the leaking of the cerebrospinal fluid.

The main ingredients of Bio-Paper are Carboxymethyl Chitosan and Sodium Hyaluronate which can be degraded into CO2 and H2O in 4 weeks after entering the human body!
